I have learned to mutli-task alot these days. I work alot of online prgrams for an income and try to get alot done around the house every day too. There just never seems to be enough time in a day for everything sometimes. Do you multi-task?

If there was a word for more than multi-task I would be that. There are many days where I have 10,000 things to do at once. I have no idea how I do them but I do.

Amen to that. I am always running around like a chicken with its head cut off getting stuff done around the house plus work online. I go for about 16 hours every day. It is very tiresome but we have to have the money and there is always work to be done around the home.

I call myself AADHD--Adult Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. I can't concentrate on one job alone. I hate it when I have to wait for some a few minutes to do the next step. I feel it's a waste of time. Example when I'm cooking, I'm reading magazine or newspaper as well while waiting for the food to get cooked. On internet, I also like tabbed browsing because it wastes my time waiting for the pages to load. I can't afford to lose even one second.

That is the same with me. I cannot sit and do one thing at a time. I am all over the internet visiting all of my sites to maximize my earnings, plus I am running around the house, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and you name it. I even write out anf figure bills while working online. There is never enough hours in a day it seems. I get tired after doing alot of work every day on and offline for about 16 hours a day.

I can and I can't. Depends what those taks are, I can look after my son and respond here but I couldn't look after him/read a story while being here too... I wished I could but generally in those times I have to pull away =) ~Joey

I know exactly what you mean. I have to have the time to be able to focus on what I am doing before I can get the tasks going in the right order. I know it is very hard to do alot of things at once when you have little ones. You have to spend your time to multitask with them. I know how that is too. ~Stephannie

I can't multitask as well at 54 as I could at 24. Because of the fibromyalgia I have trouble holding more than one thought at a time in my head.

I'm used to multi-task ever since I started working. Sometimes it can be quite tiring and you'll also tend to lose focus.

Yes. I know what you mean. multitasking wears me out alot of time but there seems to never be enough time in a day to get things done if I don't do it that way.

Hello stephcjh, If you think being a worker, a wife and a mother as a multi tasker, I think I am fit into the description. I do feel I only have 23 hours a day and it is just not enough time to do every single thing that I want to do. I am quite fast in doing things but still, I find it hard to do everything!

Yes. I find it hard alot of times because there are always detours every day. If I could keep a steady focus on what I have to do and actually only do those things, it would be alot better.

I know that feeling. It all depends on what I am working on as to whether or not I can handle doing more than one thing at a time. some things require my full time and attention.

I feel too bored if I'm just doing one or two things at once. Right now I'm playing netwinner, watching videos, reading emails, responding on here, commenting on connections on gather, and talking to my husband. I still have several more things that I want to get done before the end of the day as well!

I don't think I know how to not multi-task. Like you I have a lot of programs I do online and with the tabbed browser it's not unusual for me to be doing 5-10 things at one time plus watching tv :) And no, there are not enough hours in the day to do all I do now I can't imagine trying to do them one at a time.

Same here. I am always doing 100 things at once it seems, whether it is physically or mentally. I have a whole bunch of windows open at one time on my computer also because I am with alot of programs online and want to get o each one every day. I like being able to maximize my earning potential by doing so. I could not imagine being limited to one thing either. That is boring.

I'm that kind of person too. The time never stop for me. Sometimes even in my dream I work..I do so many things at the same time most at home where i look after my child, cook, clen and sometimes even watch tv.These are works that doesn't pay you money but can pay you love and affection.

Very true. I have to earn an income online plus do all of the things you mention also. Sometimes it feels very overwhelming but I manage to keep up with it daily somehow.

I don't think I know how to operate unless I am multi tasking. I always have to be reading or on the internet while watching tv. I can't just sit and do one thing and be able to be still. I also agree that there is never enough time. No matter how short or long the list there is always something else that needs to be done.

LOL. I am always doing 5 things or more at once too. I have to, to be able to get all that I need to get done in a days time. I know it ,ust be very hard for you since you have little ones. I have one daughter who is 15 now. It is a little bit easier now for me. she has a job and I take her and pick her up, so that does take some of my time too.

I know what you mean. My time is spent online earning my monthly earnings and the other time I am working around the house and the yard. I never have time for pleasure either. If I do, I am too tired to do anything.
