self protection

Of course I would defend myself, why wouldn't I? The guy just hit me out of the blue! But I wouldn't resort that much to violence. I believe that in a brain vs brawn situation the brain always wins.

I wish someone would just walk up to me and hit me in the face. I would definitely defend myself - no doubt. I have the umph, the gall and the confidence to defend myself.

The guy approaches and hits you - gasp you're not paying attention to avoid it - then if you hit back it might start a fight that ends in jail for both. What happened to "Are you crazy/drunk?", "Get out of here before I call the police.", "You're a coward for doing this and I don't fight cowards, man.", "You need help man!". Going all violent may only proof that the guy was right and the only way to talk to you is thru violence.

if someone did come up and hit me in my face i would most likely hit them back but harder.
