So those of you know know me know that Iam moving to Baltimore from PA. I applied for an apartment, and it came back saying that I have an eviction on my credit. I have never been evicted before. I need a place fast what can i do that does not take a long time to get this fixed?

you will have to fight to get that information removed so I would suggest that you try to get it done asap because I know that most landlords want a reference and you will continue to be rejected as long as that is on your record

You are going to have to call and tell them that this information has to be removed from your credit standing and fast. You will continue to be rejected. I do have one question though. If you are moving to another state why wouldn't you make sure you have a place before you move. And not leaving it for the last minute?

Thats actually what I am doing. I am in PA right now, and traveling down to Baltimore every few days to look at apartments that I might be interested. My job wants me in Baltimore as soon as possible, and this is making it horrible. I am spending money on applying at apartments and not knowing why they were rejected till one told me.

If your job wants you there so bad and as soon as possible why isn't the company looking for a place for you. I was with a company that found me a place and paid for the first 3 months rent for me when I moved. I think your best bet would be to look on the internet first. Contact them etc and go like that instead of having to drive every few days. Another thing don't apply for anymore apartments etc till you get your credit thing fixed as you won't get a place till then.
