my family is really fond of sweet potatoes, and I went a bit crazy in my excitement of finding them at a superb price. But I am running out of ways to make them.
one of our favorites is baked but these ones are not baking well.
what are some of your favorite ways of serving up sweet taters? care to share?

I like them mashed with butter and salt and pepper. My Kids want brown sugar on them. We also like to make frach fries with them. You said that they didn't bake very well. Have you thought about sweet potato soup? Cook them up adding some milk and butter, maybe some ginger or cumaden or something like that.

Cream of Sweet Potato Soup
3 sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
salt to taste
1 1/2 cups light cream, half-and-half, or milk
Put sweet potatoes and broth in slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH 2 to 3 hours, until potatoes are tender. Puree in blender or food processor. Return pureed potatoes to crockpot, along with remaining ingredients.

Sweet potato french fries are good if you have a thing to cut them into French fries, potato chips are fun, too.
There is sweet potato pie. Sweet potato casserole.
