Upload a tree in mylot...

Most environmentalist would say that in order to help the environment... we must plant trees... this is a great idea since we all know the benefits we get from trees... but with all the industrialization around and the need for tree products like wood and paper... planting one tree is not enough... we need a forest... I remember when i was still a teacher we actually went to the mountains to plant seedlings which we hope will grow into trees... but the problem is there was no follow up or nobody returned to the area to check if those seedling survived...
Well here in mylot, i noticed that there is a lack of images of trees... so i suggest that aside for the much needed tree planting... let us all upload an image of a tree... this may not be like saving the environment but at least we will be able to preserve the beauty of a tree just before they are cut down to be transformed into firewood, ply wood or paper...

A great idea. I love trees & in the past have been involved in tree planting programs along highways, etc.
I would load one here & also in my interests category.

Thank you for the response, for appreciating this discussion and for uploading an image of trees... but i do hope that you can upload more in the plant trees interest... this may help inspire others to preserve and plant more trees since they will be able to see the beauty of trees through the images...

This may seem counterproductive to some, but I bought a rather large book with illustrations of tress just yesterday, and plan to use it as a guide to help me learn to draw trees better, so that I can paint thme. That will take a little paper, too, but I have never met a tree yet that didn't whisper in my ear, "Draw me! Draw me!" So when I get around to drawing and painting some trees, I'll think of you and try to remember to upload here.

That sounds exciting... you are the first mylot friend that came into mind when i finished making this discussion... because i know that you can draw beautiful images of trees... i look forward to your drawing and please upload it in the plant trees interest so that it will be very easy for me to look at it... thanks for the response...
