Have you quit smoking? when? how long did you smoke?

I quit smoking a long time ago. I smoked when I was in my early high school years and was a chain smoker. I smoked mainly to fit in with the crowd. Once my friend moved away, I stopped smoking. I smoked for about one to two months before I stopped. My mom used to smoke as well and she stopped many years ago. Congratulations on being smoke free and hope that you are still smoke free. I see this topic was created seven months ago. :-)

Hi.. I gave up smoking last week and I smoked for 13years before that! I feel really good about myself and I feel more healthy already :0)

I quit on Mothers day a week ago. It was a gift to myself and my mom. I made up a paper with a picture of my mom and I, I told her that I promise to be a non smoker from now on. She was so happy. I will admit, I have cheated a few times. I bummed a puff off of my daughter in laws cig.

i had smoked for full 10 years before giving it up since last 4 months.... i hope i never resume it at any time of my life.
