my dog chews through everything that we give her to play with and we have tried some of those toys that are chew proof but she still chews them up any suggestions?

Dogs have to use their energy somehow. What kind of exercise does she get? Is it possible she's bored & needing to expend some energy? Chewing isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just buy cheaper toys if thats the problem.

My dogs have a doggy door & 3 deer fenced acres. My dogs love carrots, I asked my vet...she said "go for it." So they get several peeled carrots daily, but they still destroy chew toys.

I am going to diligently watch your answers. I have the same dilemna! My 14 year old Westie, and 3 yr. old Jack Russell destroy all toys that I have bought them. Like you, I have bought the "chew proofs" and in 2 hours there are mini-bits of the chew proof, everywhere. And when one dog hasn't chewed it up small enough, the other dog finishes the job,

My dog used to chew a lot when she was a puppy and teething, but she grew out of it after a while.
