Info About Make Money Programs

I enjoy making money on the internet and work fairly hard for it, however I am doing well and see that my progress is growing. For the most part I am working really hard this month on Helium. This is because they have a reward-athon going on. Right now is a great time to join because if you work hard and write lots, and rate lots, then you could earn $1-3 for each article you write in the next ninety days. Additionally you will set up a passive income. I wanted to take a moment to talk about some of my favorite programs. Some of these are international, some are for the US and Canada, and some are for the US....if I know, I will let you know ahead of time. Most of the time, I didn't check, because it didn't matter to me. Google Adsense is a great program. Sometimes it takes time to make money (I myself have only made a few dollars), but if you build up your traffic and you work at increasing content, traffic, and place your ads well, you can make a lot of money with Google Adsense. Right now I use it with my blogs. I also have joined Hubpages (though I haven't done any pages there yet) and howtodothings.com. Both of these let you write and use your Google Ads on their website making money for you. So, you don't have to have a blog to use Google Adsense. Adsense is available internationally. Helium-As I mentioned this is where my efforts are going right now. It is a place where you can write articles. There are a lot of topics and you can write on titles that already exist. You share your knowledge and you make money according to page views. It is slow going at first, but it can be a great passive income. You can also win contests, and sell articles through the market place. This is open to everyone with a PayPal account. However, all the articles must be written in English. They are peer rated and the higher your article is rated the better you will earn, so being very proficient with the English language is really important. You have to have made $25 to reach payout, but they do pay. Associated Content also is a great place to write articles. I believe that you have to be a US citizen though. Here some of your articles may be worth upfront money while others may only be worth money by page views. You can also upload other types of media and make $1.50 for every 1000 views. This is a great way to set up a passive income. For your upfront articles (those bought by AC) you get paid right away. For the performance pay (pay according to views) you have to have $1.50 at the start of the month to get paid (it does roll over). I have received both types of payment. Triond is another great place to publish articles. They have a wide variety of websites they participate with to publish your articles. You get a portion of the revenue the ads on your article bring in. I believe that this is open to international people and even a multitude of languages (but having never published in any other language besides English, I can't be sure). This is a good way to set up a passive income. They will not publish works that have already been published online. Hubpages is a place where you can write and attach your Google Adsense as well as you Amazon and Ebay Affiliates. You get 60 percent of the page impressions and they get the other 40 percent. I actually haven't written for them yet, but am planning on doing that soon. I have joined and checked out their website as well as talked with others who use it. It seems like a great idea and a great place to write. I believe that this is open to international peoples. Squidoo is a new one for me. It was recommended and I made my first page (called a lens there). It was a lot of fun, different, and of course a good way to earn. I believe that this is open to international peoples. Review Stream is my favorite place to write reviews. They publish anything and will pay you either forty cents or two dollars. I had some confusion issues there and they aren't easy to work with, but I got it figured out and have done fairly well. You also get paid for your votes though I am not sure how that works or when you get paid. You have to have $50 to request payout, so it takes time to get there. But you can review anything and everything! Sponsored posts for your blog is another way to make money. These programs are open to international bloggers and you can make a fair amount of money with them, though I have made less with them in recent months. The ones I work with are Blogsvertise, Bloggerwave, Sponsored Reviews, CREAMaid, and PayPerPost. Each program works a little differently, but you can make money writing sponsored posts. I have made almost $600 with PayPerPost in the past four and a half months. I have decided to pick up some PTC and have just started with that. But I have been really busy with the Helium program. I am hoping that I can write enough on Helium in the next three months to make over $1500 from them. However, this means that I am not really working on the other sites much. Just a little here and there when I get board of writing at Helium... Well...good luck to you all and let me know if you have a program you think I should try!

I am a member of Squidoo and have made 54 cents. I like the setup and how it works. I'm not very active though and haven't spent time trying to drive traffic to it. Int'l users can join squidoo. As for hubpages, I put something up on it. I admit I didn't spend much time, but I did put something on it. About a week later, I received an email saying they were closing down my hub as it wasn't up to their standards. I haven't gone back. I too have to allocate my time. I simply don't have enough time for every site, but it's a matter of choosing the site that will benefit you the most and put the time in there. Another site that seems similar to the others you have mentioned is sponsoredreviews. I made $3.25 for one article on my blog and they paid me a week later through paypal, I loved it!!!! Sounds like you have a busy month ahead of you! Good luck.

I am usually busy :-D...I have a lot going on. This is for a few reasons. My husband and I plan on working from home together. In order for that to happen I have to replace his income so he can join me (then in theory we can both work less and make more). To do that (and pay taxes) I have to make $4000 a month. So, I try things and then pick out what I like best (and can make money from). It is interesting work, and a lot of work. I love it, but sometimes feel a little stressed because it's going to take a lot of work to get to the point of making $4k a month. We are hoping it happens by 2011...so he can quit then. He works a lot of hours though so isn't much help (6am-5:30pm M-F, sometimes getting out late, and working two Saturdays a month). Plus...we have an 18 month old son! I forgot all about Sponsored Reviews though I use it! LOL...

I would love a goal like that for my husband and I. It would be wonderful if we could be at home with our two boys during the day. However, reality calls and I'm not making enough online to justify staying at home. Maybe someday I will, but I enjoy getting out to work with others and work with the public. Good luck!! :)

I also have an account at Helium, but only recently started writing there. How does the "star" system work How does one go about earning stars? I noticed that to be able to earn that bonus money by mid- April, you have to have three starts, but I can't find anything on the site about how to go about earning them. Great thread, very informative!

Thanks so much for the link. I spend at least 20 minutes everyday rating articles (with no skips, yet!) I have only written 4 articles so far. Thanks again.
