If you are a vegetarian, why? How do you get all the proteins and other nutrients your body needs?

I was a vegetarian for a short while too. I am more interested in hearing exactly what they like to eat thoguh as far as protein goes because I hate most legumes and peanut butter but am trying to eat a little less meat for health reasons. I was also wondering about the reasoning behind why they are vegetarians. Why were you one?

I tried, but I just can't give up my bacon cheese burgers! I did try going into restaurants and ordering a veggie burger with bacon and you should have SEEN the confusion on their faces! LOL!

Until this morning, I didn't even know there was such a thing as soy bacon.

Somehow that never seems to be an option at a restaurant. You'd think that one that would offer boca burger would offer a bacon sub, too, wouldn't you?

Vegetarians always get more calories than non-vegetarians. Especially pure vegetarians which doesn't contain onion, raddish or any thing used for flaovour. Because these will not only uset any body's moods and also makes uneasiness. Further, vegetarians are always with freshly prepared diets are stronger and wiser.

hmm, I've never heard of a form of vegetarianism that does not allow onion, etc. Amongst whom is this practiced? What part of it makes them wiser and stronger?
