How many times a week do you cook?

Some people cook food, order take-out, or go out to eat. Everyone has different food habits, in a week some may have ordered food 3+ times while others might have cooked 7/7 days of the week! Throughout a week about how many times overall do you believe you cook?

I cook almost every day, except Thursdays; big night out for our friendship group, we all eat down the pub :) I'll only get take-out if one of my friends is going for take-out. But I cook for only myself, so it's much easier. Although sometims I get home from work completely shatter and just throw a tin of soup on the hob.

I cook dinner 6-7 days a week. Sometimes we have a leftover day and I get out of cooking that day. We hardly ever order take out or eat out. The few times that we do it is usually lunch, so I still end up cooking dinner.

I cook everyday. We are on a tight budget and I enjoy cooking so it make sense for us. I make a lot of freezer meals so I can have a quick meal when I need it and we keep our pantry full so I can creat a meal when I feel like I have the creativity and the time. We reserve resturants for celebrations or date nights which we need to do alot more often.

I cook everyday, twice a day. I am a stay at home mom of a toddler and I make sure I feed her fresh meals everyday. So I cook lunch and dinner and occasionally a snack too because ready made snacks for kids have a lot of sugar. Nit that have anything against buying and feeding them , but since I am at home, I want to best utlize my time in taking care of her in every way possible.

I cook almost everyday. I would guess that we might eat out about every second week or so on average. It's so much cheaper to eat in and it's a much healthier choice too. I like that I can control what is in the food and I like having the extra money for other things.

My dad and I alternate through the week. One will get 3 days one week and then 2 the next. So it works out great. Weekends we don't cook as those are our down days. It also depends on the week as well. Sometimes we will go out to eat.

I cook almost every day. But some days I am to tired to stay in the kitchen for cooking and do the dishes to. I am a single mother and My son do not help enough, and specially not with the dishes. That is the most boring thing to do, so a day when I have been working for 9 hours, we go for fast food, made from another kitchen. I love to cook, but sometimes I am just to tired.

Being tired and cooking doesn't work usually you don't enjoy your meal or you end up in a bad mood even if you love cooking.

My gf and I generally like to go out only once a week. Occasionally we'll have a week where we go out once and order pizza for delivery another day that week, but generally we cook meals for ourselves. We both love to do it, and cooking together really helps split up the tasks. Sometimes I'll make a sauce while she chops veggies; other times we'll switch and I'll chop everything and she'll tend the pots and pans. Other than eating to live, we treat it as a hobby, always looking for new recipes and expanding our horizons (except in the realm of things that live in water... she doesn't eat seafood).

Cooking... it seems to be something of the past life. Fast food has definately taken over the world of food. I cook about 5-6 nights a week and use the left overs for lunch during the week. I have found it to help my weight drop as well as my alloted food costs have taken on a decrease!! I think although everyone's food habits are different there is always a friend or a familly member to offer a good home cooked meal.... I know down here in the south there is nothing like a good soul food plate from grandma's kitchen!

We usually cook everyday except during weekends wherein we eat outside. Cooking and making your own food is really good. It will entice you to eat more especially if a known good cook in your family will cook for you.

I think I cook every day in a week.and sometime more than one time in a day. But always have to cook for dinner, unless there is special occasion or plan to go out eating in the restaurant.

I like to cook about 4-6 days a week. The rest of the time, my family and I just have frozen dinners or get take-out. ;0
