Please Don't Put Ads

On my profile. I do not like it when people request to be my friend and then leave ads in my comments section. I feel that it is very rude and if a person does it twice, they will be deleted from my friends list. If you want to be my friend and join in my discussions and have me respond to yours, that is fine. I also have no problem with you leaving me a nice comment. But, I would appreciate if my friends would not leave comments advertising other sites or anything else for that matter.

That's great, people are so money-minded nowadays that even here on the net they try to grab on every opportunity. Common courteusy is what they need, or that should be considerate that not all mylot members who are here are after those money-making sites. I also delete those who do this to me, either posting them on my comment's section or via messaging. I am not that serious abut making money, most of us here are just trying to relax and enjoy what this site has to offer..

I agree with you it makes me feel the only reason they want to be my friend is becasue they want to send me their adds.

Exactly, it makes you feel used. I will not stand for it.

I couldnt agree with you more, there is nothing more rude than that...I dont do it to anyone else , why do they do it to me, it seems desparate...

Desparate is a very good word to describe it.

I know, that is annoying. I only had one person do that a lot, and I did delete them. Not just because of that, but because they never posted discussions of their own, nor answered mine.

I try to give the ones that seem to be posting a second chance. But if they do the same thing more than once, they have to go.

I know what you mean. I have deleted a few people because all they do is add me and then post their adverts. Just politely let them know you are not interested and if they do it again or dont bother answering your discussions, then delete them.

If they don't have a high number of post and responses, I will delete them right away. But, if I feel that they are participating on the site, I will try to give them another chance.

That's actually even worse than spam, in my opinion. They're putting "graffiti" on your profile in a sense! I don't blame you, I wouldn't put up with that either. Annie

Yes, it is very annoying. I am trying to find the profile of the person who did this, but I can not seem to find her on my friends list, although when I go to her profile friend someone else's, it says send message, which means that she is still on my list or it would say add to friends list, Right?

I get upset at that myself. I need to go look at my profile as a matter of fact to see who else has did this under my name. Now nice comments left are fine. I enjoy getting those.
