One morning I was on my way to the market and i saw a man going back to home who had 4 wives. Each of the wives had 4 bags,containing 4 dogs and each dog had 4 puppies.
Taking all things into consideration, how many were going to market??

correct... now try this:
a man wants to reach a window which is 40 ft. above the ground. the distance from the foot of the ladder to the wall is 9 feet.
how long should be the ladder?

no wrong answer... its a simple pythagorus theorem formula......
sqrt[ sqr(40)+sqr(9)]= sqrt[1600+81]= sqrt[1681]= 41 fts...!!

or it is a trick question and you have someone else in the car with you but never stated that? I hate questions like these sometimes...LoL!!
