Possible Barack Obama Assination

I dont like to think of bad things , or even say something that s not true.
Since Barack Obama is running for president , and of his race. There is a possibility of him being assassinated. Some people do not want to see a man of his race be the president of USA.
I heard back in may , they started giving him a lot more protection because of this fear.
There is also other reasons because of his campaign is sort of like John F Kennedy (sp).
I dont know all the full details , but its something to think of ahead of time before something can't be done.
I think it was a good decision to give him a lot more security , but really how safe can you be.

I think that the closer an Obama presidency becomes reality then the more people will have to watch out for his safety. I don't know if the issue has even been brought up yet, I know I haven't heard anything about it, but certainly people have to know the possibility exists. This is the main reason that Colin Powell's wife won't let him run for president. She's afraid that someone will try to assasinate him. I hope that no one tries to kill Obama but at the same time I'm not naive to think that it won't happen.

Its not like the old era...this is the age of technology n' media coverage etc...its gonna mighty hard to cover up the culprits behind the assassination if he does get blown up or shot-at...hope his would-be assassins know this before doing something stupid.

Except that you could have one random headcase decide to kill Obama without caring about the concequences. Some people feel so strongly against having a black president that they would be willing to sacrifice their own lives if it meant that Obama or any other black person for that matter didn't become president. It doesn't have to be a government conspiracy like JFK's assasination. It could just be some random racist.
