Well what really helped me loose weight is eating oatmeal. I ate it for breakfast and desert. I lost 10 pounds in like a month and a half. It kept me full. I need to go back on that again and loose the holiday weight I gained, lol

Hi Sassy, I agree with you with oatmeal, when I have it for breakfast, it really keeps me going this lunch time, but I find over summer I don't tend to feel like it. So I keep the porridge for the winter months.

I have found that anytime you go on a diet it never works. Why? Because the problem is not WHAT you eat, it's WHY you eat. Think about it. YOu go on a diet with the understanding that the diet will be over when you loose _____ pounds. However, if you learn why you eat what you eat then you can change. In other words you have to make a change in your thinking before your eating will change. Don't go on a diet. Change your lifestyle. Oh and another great tip. If you don't buy it; it is hard to eat it. :) Take care

I eat normally because I'm hungry or I crave something sweet. Not for any other reason. Regarding tip 2, this week I bought no sweets and yes it's true it does work.

Well my 14 year old daughter is a wrestler...and she needed to loose 5 lbs in two weeks... I went in and found the sacred heard medical center soup diet... it is what they give to their heard patients when they need to loose weight for heart surgery. Well 7 days later..she lost her 5 lbs... and our diets have changed... we have LOTS more fruits and vegetables in our house... she has cut her pop down to about one a week... calorie intake has gone WAY down...oh yeah .. she has the cravings... but... she still has three more weeks of wrestling and she is determined to keep her weight down... sadly... when it is over...she will probably put 5-10 back on...

What diet did you do? Actually my main problem is my sweet craving and so as not doing the exercise. I think I should be exercising but I am just too lazy to wake up in the morning. Why is dieting so difficult?!

Hi, The diet I did was a free trial with free shipping, it's natural with aloe vera, vitimins, minerals & anti oxidants. If you want to try it for free, I have a link on my profile. I hope that helps you. - Daist

I actually did not found the right diet regime. But just simply lessen my food intake. I still eat those I want (and luckily all are healthy ones) but in a lesser amount. Slowly I am loosing weight to my delight.

Short-term weight loss is dieting, and long-term is changing your eating habits to keep that weight off. Have you also been working out when you diet? And I have a few decent sites that you could look up about healthy eating and dieting. Friend me if you want. (:

I have tried the cabbage soup diet, one day detox and many others. I have a hard time losing weight since it's not a matter that I eat a lot. I don't get hungry. I only eat one meal a day for the most part and find that it is hard to force myself to eat other meals. It's not that I am starving myself, I just don't get hungry. Any diet that works, works with commitment and excercise. As long as you WANT to do it, you can loose weight.

The only thing that works is eating well and controlling portions and exercise. Sometimes green tea helps speed metabolism, but "diets" don't work. Life style changes do and allow yourself once a week to "cheat"! It won't do any harm, in fact it may even help shake your metabolism a bit to reset it.

I never diet. I loose weight if I work a lot, have things on my mind and do a lot of errands. I mean when I keep busy on my own feet and not in my car. When I sit down all day I gain weight. I maintain my weight when I have one piece of chocolate and a fruit, when I eat a salad with my home cooked meal and eat some vegetables. I eat fast food very seldom. I eat real meals and I eat everything but little cake or sweets and more fresh fruit and veggies. I am not skinny and I am not fat. Happy mylotting!

a diet that work?sure you don't eat as normal you did!!ehehe!!probably different diet are good as regards the balance between the food nutrition!!i think to see much more results together with a diet you must have much movement as sport, fitness, body activity...so probably if you can be wise to combine this two things your diet must be good and you will loose weight faster!!

less calories = less weight. Try drinking a glass of water before you eat so you will fill full quicker and eat a lesser amount. Everything in moderation and don't beat yourself up if you have a day where you reach for the chocolate. Walking instead of using car or bus or train will also help, even if it is getting off one bus stop earlier or parking at the furthest point away from the car park exit will also help. Relax and try not to look at the scales but how your clothes fit. Muscle ways heavier than fat if you exercising also. Try losing slowly 2lbs a week good, first week you will always lose more due to to fluid retention loss. Good luck, stay happy, stay healthy.

www.lautz_tm.isagenix.com More than a diet. It is a lifetime lifestyle change that has worked for me. I've gone from a size 26 to and 18 since June 07.
