My Clingy Buster

Well it seems my Buster has become very clingy as of late. I cleaned off the recliner in my office Friday morning and Buster has now made it his home so to speak. All day long Friday he would follw me each place I went. He would lie in the recliner then when I got up to use the bathroom he followed me sitting at the door waiting for me to come out. Then he followed me to the couch laying alongside me. Then to the office again. On and on and on. he just seems to have gotten really clingy since it got really cold. So does your dog or cat etc ever get this clingy to the point you feel like you're being stalked almost? HAHAHA!!

He is an adorable all too loveable beagle at times. he is very well loved in this household. Oh and very spoiled as well. HAHAHAHA!!!

My parents dog is also old and he is very clingy now...He now will not sleep unless he is on my dad's side of the bed (On the floor) Otherwise he whines all night!!! He goes with my Mom to the washroom and lays art her feet when she does the dishes! He is right by them when they watch TV at night...

Buster must be around 8 or 10 years old I think. He loves getting up on the couch to curl up against anyone for warmth and human contact as well. I love the warmth on nights like last night and tonight. HAHAHA!!

LOL No Buster is not stalking you.LOL Too funny. He is just making sure your okay he knows you were sick. My one cat is that way. I had that terrible cold too. Well now she wont leave me alone either!hehehe. I think we spoiled them. Dont you?

Oh yes he is. he was fine all day today as my daughter and grandsons were here. As soon as they left he was back at being Buster the Stalker. HAHAHAHA!!

I don't have that situation instead there are 3 Albino Catfish driving me a little crazy today. They are wall walking, begging and eating the bottom of their vegetable. There isn't anything wrong with the top, but they are trying to get it to float.

They have a cucumber, but don't like it. I need to buy a zucchini, as its their favorite vegetable. My local store didn't have any available. I'm going to start growing them next season, as they have been eating a lot of them.

Oh yes, I know this one well - actually took me a few minutes to get camera but I have what I call 'My Shadow' who is otherwise known as Shilo. Shilo has been my shadow since the second day we brought him home from the animal shelter. We thought he would be a great companion for our grandson, 5, but grandson moves to fast for Shilo who has obviously been abused and wants nothing but to be as close to me as possible.
Right now I'm in a glider rocker which means there's not room for Shilo next to me so he's keeping a close eye on me from the loveseat 10 feet away.

Cute. Buster is beyond a shadow. he is more of a stalker. HAHAHAHA!
But he is loved dearly and spolied like all hell as well. Hahahaha!!
In time he will grow accustomed to the grandson and his speediness.

I keep hoping Shilo will adjust but anytime anyone moves fast or makes loud noises he runs to me and tries to hide in my armpits or behind my back - he'll shiver and shake for an hour. I really feel bad when I 'yell' at grandkids or son - Shilo doesn't like that either and is totally confused as to what to do then "Oh no Mom's losing it too where do I hide now?"

Hello dear happy Grandpa Bob. It is very interesting of your clingy buster to follow you everywhere, which can be seen that he likes and depends on Grandpa Bob very much. I am sure that he is very happy to be with you from his daily performance that way. You are really good friends to each other. Keep up, Grandpa. lol

All my animals follow me around where ever I go. I am their mamma. The dog thinks I am the only one that is supposed to let her out. They all sleep in my room. I am the one who feeds them. I have a bunch of critters too.
3 cats, 1 dog, 1 puppy, and 2 birds, plus the 2 legged critters (people).

Yes, my mini fox terrier is like this. She just follows me everywhere when inside. If I go to make the bed, she gets on it. When I am on the computer, she lies on the lounge near me. I am really not sure why some dogs do this, other than a desire to be with their owners 24 hours a day.

yeah seems my Buster has been starving for attention as of late.
He is always bugging dad as weel. Wait let me rephrase that, dad is always bugging Buster to climb into his chair with him. HAHAHAHA!!!

Actually, Sherlock is doing that to me today. He won't let me lie down for a nap, when I sit in the computer chair, he whines until I pick him up. He followed me to the bathroom, the kitchen, and has also tried to eat from my plate. It's rather odd.

My dog was like that....if I was upstairs....he was...when I went downstairs..he did. If I laid on the couch ...he laid on top of me...but that was only in the last few years of his life after the kids moved. I was never anyone special to him even though I was his main care taker until the kids were all gone. Then he was my constant companion..

Oh Grandpa... he's just trying to show you love. lol I have 9 cats and 5 dogs and a lot of them will follow me around whether it be in here, the computer room, kitchen while I'm cooking, they'll get under foot, or in the living room. Some will even follow me into the bathroom! LOL

This is kind of a new action for Buster is all. If we are gone for awhile when we return he follows us. But this was ALL day Friday he followed me. HAHAHAHA!!

How cute of Buster. Our dogs are not clingy because they have their own room and do not wander around the house. The indoor cat sometime tries to be practically on top of you to the point of following you into the bathroom at times. Not very often though. He usually is in get the heck away from me mode.

Buster is basically an indoor dog even though he loves running around out back. So this is a strange action for him. But I love it. Hee hee!!

I have a cat that likes to follow me all around. I can be at one end of the house and he'll see me move. All of a sudden there he is at my feet and then he is relentless. He will try to go every where with me.

All cats are clingy I think. They all follow their owners/masters around as well. The cats I had did this. But this is the first dog
I've had that did this so cloesly. Hahahaha!!

Yes, when its cold they love to cuddle, and cling. My wild cats and kittens will often cuddle together even the ones that do not get along when it get cold it for them is a natural survivor instinct my dogs were the same way...

Oh, that's kinda sweet. He loves you. I don't have any animals anymore other than a fish. But the kids I babysit do that to me sometimes. LOL Sometimes I have to get a break by going to the bathroom because they won't follow me in there. hehehe

I know what your going thru, Grandpa Bob. We have a approximately 6mo. old kitten whose always cold so constantly follows us around to try and cuddle up in our shirts or on us under a blanket to get warm/stay warm. Drives me up the wall cause I end up stepping on him all the time. Can't wait for warm weather only for that reason.

My Petie is my stocker! He follows me all around the house. I go to the bathroom, to the garage, to the office, to the kitchen. He is underfoot. He is 6lbs so I am afraid of steping on him.
