I am 26 weeks pregnant with my 4th child!! I am at that uncomfortable stage :( this pregnancy is completely different than my other ones and my stomach feels like it is going to rip, because it is stretching so much!!! You would think I would be used to this but my other children were small...any suggestions to get comfortable? secret tricks out there?

I thought I would...I think you seem to "forget" the agony of pregnancy and birth and thats why you can have another child!!!

so true! but you know when they all grow up, and move out, you will be so happy to have had them all, because they all will be close to you, and come home to visit (hopefully), and you wont grow old alone! just think positive thoughts!!

been there it isn't fun. my only advice is to rub either coco butter, olive oil or body butter on your stomach. i know i was miserable while i was pregnant and my stomach felt like it was tearing. well needless to say after giving birth i saw why. my son came out weighing 9lbs 5 oz and he's still growing!

Wow, that is what I am afraid of!!! My boyfriend was 11lbs when he was born..this is my first child with him. my other boys were 5,6,and 7 lbs with some oz added on..I figure since this is my 1st girl, she has to be a brat!! Thanks for the advice, I have never used coco butter, always heard about it, so I will try that!

I think both of my pregnancies were uncomfortable from about 4 or 5 months on.. I had big boys (first was 10 pounds 14 ounces, and the second we took early and was 9 pounds) and I felt like I was going to explode.. (: I remember, especially with the first, because I had more time, i took aLOT of baths. At 8 months preggers, with the first, I stopped working, b/c I was having so many contractions and my legs hurt so bad (b/c I had vericose veins) and There were days, that i'd wake up and go for a walk, and then make a bath, and lay in the bath tub for an hour, then I'd take a long nap.. those were my favorite days, If it's warm where you are, you could swim also, as i'm sure it's just being weightless in the water.. I was really uncomfortable most of the time though, and nothing else besides the bath really worked for me.. and with other little ones running around, it will most likely be difficult to get that much time in the tub w/out constant interruptions.. You could see if hubby would take the kids to the park (or an inside play yard) and leave you to soak at home w/out any background noise. (: Good luck and Congrats!
