Since you earn money in smaller amounts, you are more careful with it.I would prefer a windfall. I would like to have enough money to get what I want right now. And I would love to gibe to AIDS research and diabetes.

I too think you're more careful with your own money yet would not argue or refuse a windfall. Those are great charities. You are my kind of prolife - helping those who are already here!

Earned because you grow into it. Sometimes when people get a windfall they suddenly change...and don't have time to think about what they have gotten and sometimes they blow it. I think when you earn it and have had to do alot of work for it you appreciate it more.

I would definately prefer a windfall.
But I also know that I wouldn't blow it.
Since I have had good jobs before where I made a lot of money and the money I made from them lasted much longer than the jobs themselves did.
I am the type of person that saves everthing I have, even if I don't really have to.( when it comes to money at least, when it comes to stuff I throw it away :P )
So I wouldn't be any less careless about money I'd get from a windfall vs. what I've worked for.
Like in my case I will undoubtly fall into a large inheritence as my family does have money but it will last me as long as it has lasted them, their whole lives.

It sounds like your family is as good with money as you are. I think its great that your money has lasted beyond jobs - and also that you're not so matteerialistic that you have to keep everything.
I hope you find a nice happy medium when you get your windfall - spoil yourself a little and save a little. That is if you want that.
