Bella, I agree with Natrak - this is a beautiful discussion. You've touched upon a special place in my heart. I'd so love to have my own home, my desire is deep within me. I always wanted a little house, very much like a gingerbread house, with a white picket fence, marigolds along that fence, a blue front door, with a knocker of a lion's face. I want lots and lots of windows, with shutters on the front windows. My walkway will be lined with lilies, my fencing on the sides of the house will be rife with morning glories, and I'll have a swing on my front porch that I can sit on with my morning coffee, and my cats will all be with me, sunning in splendor. My back yard will have a cherry tree and I'll have a swimming pool too. Not a really big one, just something for me to play around in. I'll have dogs too, and there will be bird feeders and there'll always be sweet music from the birds. there also will be music in the house all the time, flowing out the windows, rising in the air. wow, I'm there.

See you guys this is why I come here every day and talk to you guys. Becuase you are awesome. LOL!! I love your dream house it's so beautiful and yes I'll agree so fairytalish, I think if I win the lottery that my childs life size doll house will mirror this and I'll dedicate it to you. Because I think the main is going to be a very nice victorian style but massively huge to the point where there are 14 bedrooms alone and each has it's own bath/ shower. Master comes with a huge Juacuzzi bath and a shower stall that has various shower heads at various levels. Oh wow I just can't get into detail of it right now it might take two pages. LOL!!!

Natrak, you're exactly right, it's just like a fairy tale. I guess that's where it stemmed from, some childhood tales. And I don't know that it will ever become reality, but if it did, my home would be open to such a lovely person as yourself, as is my present home.

I would have an old style victorian looking house on 20 acres of land. I would have horses and fruit trees and a stream that ran along the edge of my property. Inside my house I would have a dream kitchen, huge den with a pool table, dart board, card table, 42" flat screen TV with surround sound, the whole floor plan would be bright and open and airy. I would have a room just for the hot tub and another room at the other end of the house with a 80 ft long swimming pool in it. Oh, I could go on and on and on.

I would like to build a house in a sort of a square with the yard in the middle, and that yard would be one big entertainment area, I would have the lounge room door made so they would open up completely to this yard to make it an extention to the lounge room. Also I would have a a door from each bedroom leading out to the entertainment area and all bedrooms would have its own ensuit. hmmmm I think I need to post a bit more to get the money to do this...

I would have one bedroom for each member of the family complete with their own bathroom. I would like one 'office' type room, with a computer, and enough shelf/table space for projects such as organizing photographs, christmas cards, etc. A seperate laundry room with a sink for pre-soaking and a rack for hanging some clothes to dry, along with enough room for an ironing board would be great. I'd like a utility bath, maybe in the laundry room, for washing out rugs, pets, etc. But most of all, I want a front porch with a porch swing!
