new project

Morning I've decided that thinks are looking a little bad again at the moment. I was told my temp job had ended last week, but i'm trying to stay positive so i don't go back to drinking again. So i will need your support loads right now. I've decided that i live at home with my family and for so long i've been trying to find a way of getting my own place. I realise that here in the UK it's so expensive to try and do it on my own. The one thing i was looking forward to was having my own garden so i could grow what i wanted as my Mum is a keen gardener at home there is not much i can do there, but i have spoken to my parents and they have agreed that i can have a go at growing vegetables etc. in pots instead. So i've decided that a new project to keep my mind and me busy could be really good. So i thought that i could grow some herbs as well, as i'm a keen knitter and crafter i thought i could knit pot holders to go with the herbs and even make card to go with it. Then take them to car boot sales and see if i can make some money doing this. Also i thought i could turn the veggies into chutney's etc. and even sell some of these. What do you all think?? Do you have a new project that you want to start this year, i would love to hear about them it might give me more inspiration.

That sounds like a great plan! These are things everyone can use, not just decor... you'll do better with practical things, presented in a pleasant way. I'm STILL working to get things made for my etsy shop... its a fine line... I need enough to satisfy demand, but not so much that I fill my house to the rafters! Its the unknowns that make all this difficult... but not insurmountable!

I already have an etsy.com shop set up, and now I'm building the inventory of my handmade cards, pop-ups and journals. I can't just put one of each in because more than one person may want them, so I have a couple big boxes of things I've done. A few more, and I can open the doors and start selling! Check it out... people sell their handmade things in their own shops there, and its a good market!
