Hey guys, I don't understand yet, what's so special about some movies which are just a passtime and nothing else e.g. Aap Ka Suroor, Jab We Met, Partner, all these movies which aren't bad and aren't good! And if we talk about Hemish Reshamiya, does he look like a hero?! They did this movie in order to let all people lestin to his voice and his songs which most of them are with similar tune!
What made me feel very bad that people couldn't evaluate Saawariya which is a very unique movie and deserve to win the best award this year. People who watched it and fell asleep, I advice them to go and watch it again - with open eyes and ears - and judge it correctly.

No..No..No.. I would rank best movies for 2007 as follows:
Best:
1st Saawariya ( It has at least 3 awards, best cinematography, best music of the year and best artistic award.
2nd Taare Zameen par
3rd Chakde India ( TZP & Chakde India, both deserve awards)
Om shamti Om - a peace of crap
partner - only pass time, Bhool Bholayya is a much better movie.
Welcome - I haven't seen the movie but I assume it's only a masala movie and pass time.
And, if Umrao Jaan was released in the 1st quarter of 2007 I would consider it as one the best movies of this year, It's much much better than the original

Sorry, I meant to say in my earlier response ( Saawariya has to win at least 3 awards. If this movie was a sleeping pill for some audiences but it was an awakening movie for some others. I never thought to thank a director during all these years, how many bollywood movies I watched, but when I watched Saawariya I was amazed with this great direction: SLB deserves award as one the best directors for this year.

to me its undoubtedly TZP, Amir khan has proved it that he can act, and as well make a kid act better than a bare chested Shahrukh khan in OSO, simply superb

Best Movie of 2007? It's gotta be Taare Zameen Par. What a wonderful movie that was, i heard that Aamir Khan is planning to do a sequel for this movie. Darsheel Mehta the boy in the film has a bright future, his acting is very nice. I heard from the news that Mr.L.K.Advani has cried after watching this movie and he stated that this is the best movie since so many years. This movie got all the potential to win the oscar award. My top 3 best movies of 2007 are 1)Taare Zameen Par 2)Chake De India 3)Bhool Bhulaiya

Withou doubt my favourite movie for the year was THARE ZAMEEN PAR....full marks to aamir and the invention of the year DARSHEEL SAFARY....its no everytime that a commercial movie makes you so emotional and i saw most of my colleagues crying along with me...hehe
still om shanthi om was simply superb and was the most entertaining movie of the year.chak de india one of my favourites arose that patriotism in you which i dint feel ven after seeing the movie. GANDHI MY FATHER..haha
