I'm currently Reading The Godfather and It is amazing!

I'm currently reading the Godfather, and I love it so much...I read a lot and generally shy away from books that are also movies, but when i came across this book in a local thrift store for 75 cents I couldn't resist, and it is one of the most exciting reads I've had in a while... Have you read this boook and do you have comments? Have you read other books that are also movies and how were they? Cheers Hillarie

Well honestly I have not read the books or seen the movies... but I understand what you mean... Right now I am reading The Golden Compass because I intend to watch the movie after

I love to read also and I buy all my books in thrift stores. Its great to purchase a book at such a discount esspecialy if it was expensive when it was new

I agree! I'm getting quite the colledtion of used books, I love it...I can't wait to get a new bookshelf for them all!

I've heard of that book before and I think i already saw the movie version of it. well, I'm currently reading The Scorpio Illusion by Robert Ludlum. He's the writer of The Bourne movies actually.

How could the godfather be only 75 cents it is truly a classic to me and one of my personal favs. Keep that one, the book has to be worth more than that. I like it in play format, or musical format too!!!
