Are You a Light or Heavy Sleeper?

Do you wake at the slightest noise and then have a hard time getting back to sleep? Or do you sleep soundly even though there are loud creaks and noises throughout the night? Are you able to sleep with little light or must you have no light? I had to switch out the iPod station back to the alarm clock this morning because my husband is finding that when he turns over at night and sees the blue light instead of the red, he then becomes wide awake! So I moved the iPod station downstairs to the livingroom. Anyone else have these types of situations?

when i am not yet an freelance writer i am a heavy sleeper. but since i became a freelance online writer, i became a light sleeper... as an online writer, my cellphone must be open 24/7. any client will contact me at any hour, day or night. so even in sleeping when i heard a text message or call i usually woke up easily. right now even just a slightest noise wakes me up due to the habit

i kind of go between heavy and light sleep. We have two Springers and sometimes they will walk around at night if they are hearing noises or if one of the cats has found something interesting to play with :) So if that is the case, I am awake.

There is only one thing that disturbs my sleep. My husband has commented on it on more than one occasion. I can be in a deep sleep and if he gets up and starts moving around I wake up instantly. Other than that I can sleep through anything. Lights don't bother me. Once I am asleep I usually don't wake up unless my husband decides to get up and start to do something.

If for some odd reason, I get a case of insomnia during the night, I either have to put the tv on to help me get in sleepy mode or I put the earphones on and listen to xm (foxnews channel). That talking will surely make you sleepy! :)))

Hey! I'm a very light sleeper. I get up very easy in the morning, from the first noise my alarm clock makes! I can't sleep if it's too much noise around me and I wake up instantly because of some noises like rain, or a door being closed, opened etc.
