I have been out of work sence November last year. I was working a temp to hire postion. I had applied for a full time postion there. They did not let me know if I even made the first cut tell after they fired me. I was really PO I was contracted to work tell Jan. but the work ran out. I think should have let me know before they fired me. I have to give a 2 week notice if I leave a job. Why can they not do the same think. I just think this is really unfair of big company hurting us little people.

Well, unfortunately, companies get away with this kind of behavior all the time. The little people can't afford to drag a business into court every time they feel like their rights have been trampled on. Not to mention, depending on the state you live in, it may seem like a raw deal on your end, but can be perfectly legal on their end. Here where I live, they can tell me they don't like my eyeshadow one day and fire me for it and I have no recourse. It's seems unfair and inhumane, but it does happen. Sorry to hear that it had to happen to you.
