It's not suppose to rain in Sunny Southern California. We do not get nearly enough of it for me to be use to it. So when it does come, all I want to do is hibernate. I know that we need it, but my mood is greatly affected by it. The fact that everything around me seems to be going wrong, doesn't help much. But, I must say that I am still blessed. At this point, I am learning to have faith for my family and friends also.

I feel ya there Rozie, when its freezing and icy cold I dont' want to do anything but stay indoors too. The sun did come out today but the wind was nippy so I stayed indoors except when it was time to get my son from the bus stop. I don't mind the rain at times but it does affect my mood as well. Time to cuddle up on the couch and snooze or watch a movie LOL

Hot chocolate and a real good movie to keep me awake. I know you prefer coffee, so that will keep you up.

I would hibernate all winter long and rainy days if i could. I get so tired when it rains and don't wanna do anything and as far as winter is concerned....i stay cold all the time, so i absolutely hate it. I live in the south though so it still gets pretty cold. i'm just glad i don't live in like ny or somewhere like that were it gets tremendously cold. I wouldn't be able to survive it i don't think. LOL! but i definitely feel you, i would hibernate to if i didn't have three kids to take care of and take places all the time. thanks for posting and God bless

Oh yes, I hear that it is totally freezing in New York in the winter time. I can barely deal with the cold in California. And my Asthma just makes everything harder, but I know it could be a lot worse. So I am hanging in there.

sorry to hear about your asthma. It must be nice living in California. It doesn't get to to cold there does it? Here it gets in the twenties, sometimes below that, and i hate it. God bless

I love it when it rains here in my mcity hehehe.. Unlike you probably, I just love to hibernate and grab a book to read the whole time it rains outside. But sometimes really it affects my daily tasks. Like for example sometimes when I have to go to school and it’s raining outside, it’s hard to get a cab or walk around downtown if I feel like walking you know..

Oh no, I just love to stay in and read when it is raining. It's the having to go outside when it is raining. The world just looks so gloomy and nobody has a smile or time to talk. They are all in a hurry to get out of the rain. However, there are times when I do not feel like being bothered with anyone. That is when the rain becomes like a shield and I can block every one out without hurting anyone's feelings.

Here in Central CA we have had rain since Monday. We have had almost three inches of rain this month. I love the rain but I think we need a break. We have several more days of rain in the forcast. I hope you are keeping warm and dry.

Yeah, yeah, warm, dry, but I got the blues too. How's Mr. Petie doing by the way? He is just too adorable.

Where do you live, Rozie? I'm in Riverside County. It's not actively raining right now -- just a little cloudy. It's good that you recognize your blessings. Cheers, Joyce

I am in Santa Monica and the rain keeps stopping and starting. I guess I should be glad that it is not raining continually. I know some people in Riverside.

Wouldn't it be fun to ride the merry-go-round in the rain? Probably not -- just funning you, Rozie. When I lived in Gardena, I worked in Santa Monica at the Water Gardens on 26th St. I'm happy to be out of THAT rat race. Keep your inner sunshine if you can, Rozie -- the news says it's gonna be rainy all week.

I am the same way. I have a lot of indoor things to keep me busy. I love to read. I also get books from my local library. I like doing word game puzzles and doing research on the web. I rarely get bored, just restless.

Hi Rozie dear! It is good to know that at this point, you are learning to have faith for your family and friends as you have said. You are truly blessed my friend. You are such a caring and a sensitive person. Try fighting the blues (although it is difficult sometimes) and instead reflect on how truly blessed you are my friend! Take care always and have a nice day my dear friend! :)
