Please give your prayers and positive thoughts to my friend

I just got off the phone with the mom of one of my closest friends, and she told me that my friend was in a nasty car accident on her way to work this morning. My understanding of what happened is that a big rig started pulling over into her lane, practically on top of her. She hit the brakes, but the roads have been really slick from the rain, so instead of slowing the car down it went into a skid and then a spin. I'm not sure what if anything she hit, but the car ended up totaled. She is in the hospital right now awaiting results from x-rays, an MRI, and an ultrasound. She is conscious and stressing out over it all, but I don't know if anything is broken in her body or not. Please send out your prayers for her. If you don't pray, please at least send her your positive thoughts. Her name is Sunnie. I'm very worried about her, so I will be going to see her this afternoon after my daughter gets out of school. When I find out more, I will give you all an update. Thank you all. Hugs to everyone.

Oh my Katlady how terrible.. of course you have my prayers for your friend Sunnie..Too bad some kind of charges can't be made against the rig that created this...those big rig drivers tend to think they own the roads

I will keep your friend Sunnie in my prayers. My son was ina very bad car accident in 2003. Thank God and my sons guardian angel he made it thru with a shattered femor and cuts and bruises but we almost lost him 2 times.It was a horrible 8 days and I was a mess. It was a horrible ordeal and I feel for anyone who goes thru this situation.I am praying shes ok.

Accidents can through you off the balance. More than the hurt, the scare is terrible. This is the time for you to give strength to your friend. She may eventually recover from the physical hurt if any caused by the accident, but the trauma will remain for a long time. I pray to God she recovers soon. When something like this happens, it gets me thinking that life is so very unpredictable, you step out of the house one morning and you don't know where you will end up.

Tell Sunnie to relax if you can. I don't know what happened but she has to calm a bit. The stress won't help anything and it slows recovery.
Other than that I send my thoughts and prayers for her wellness.
