i have a kodak z1275. it is quite a small compact digital. it has 12mp lens, excellent colour definition, can record video at 1270x800 which is far beyond what most cameras can do at 640x480. it has anti shake technology, 5x optical zoom and 5 x digital zoom. it is a perfect camera as you can fit it in your bag and with the immense amount of features you can take superb pictures with it. and if you buy it from amazon it is only like £120. so that is £10 per megapixel. bargain!

I have told people looking for a camera to take a list with them to a camera shop, write down the price you can go up to, and what features you want, when I bought mine the salesman actually asked what sort of photos i would be taking, so write down exactly what you want out of a camera...size of camera, pixel size, barrery or dock charging, zoom or no zoom, it is good to have a little help from the experts to help you because there are a lot of cameras out there, I ended up buying an Olympus SP350 8.0 megapixels....
