Cloverfield

I just got to see Cloverfield. I liked the way it was filmed, the grainy way that the characters were viewing things. The fact that everything seemed so realistic. It was a monster movie but shown from the ground up, not filming the hero, or the monster, but the people trying to get out. Sort of a variation on War of the Worlds. That one looked in on the action where this one looks out onto the action. What do you think of it? I give it a thumbs up and probably an 8 or 9 out of 10. Why are you rating it this way?

I didn't see this movie. Are you recommending the movie? I don't like horror movies. Do you think I can watch it without closing my eye?

This movie defeniatly has some creepy scenes! There's also a comuple of scenes that make you jump because you have NO idea that something scary is going to happen. lol. But this movie was AWESOME, I defeniatly recommend it too! I think this movie is a lot scarier then Godzilla was, and I agree-the way it was filmed was really good, and made it even scarier! If I find someone to go with, I'm going to go see it again! lol. That's how much i enjoyed it! If you do go to it, bring someone who won't mind you sqeezing their arm or hiding you face in their shoulder! lol

watched Cloverfield 2 weeks ago I think. Thought it was pretty good, the way they filmed it and all. I'd have to give an 8 out of 10 I thinkā€¦coz I was disappointed with the ending haha. Was hoping that rob and beth would survive or something. Good movie, nonetheless.

Spoiler Alert for those who haven't seen it I think the ending was great. You figured they were on their way off the Island and then 'BOOM!!!' Then the final clip from the day at Coney Island with the girl Rob wanted to be with saying this was a great day or something like that. Totally irony.

I watched this movie last weekend and wasn't impressed with it. I understand the different perspective and can appreciate it for that, but the way the camera shook detracted from the film overall. I know it's supposed to be an inexperienced photographer doing the filming but I've heard reports on the news of people claiming the movie made them (motion) sick. Personally, I stayed to see the monster even though hubby was ready to go halfway thru. My vote was a Thumbs Down

I had heard that the jumpiness of the camera work did have an effect on people. It didn't effect me that way, but then everyone has different tolarences. I've heard both good and bad reviews and wanted to see it so I could make up my mind. I enjoyed it, but that's just one opinion of many.

Yeah I saw the movie online a few weeks ago. I liked it the only problem I had with the movie was it was way to short ended at an hour and 12 min. Which is why I wouldnt go see it in the movie theators. But I loved the point of view just made it very realistic. Also I wish they showed the monster in some more scenes you really only get one good shot of him at the end which looked very cool. I hope they make a sequel but not from pov. And hopefully it will be a lot longer. And they explain about the monster and where it came from.

I was impressed with it, and I liked the 'Blair Witch Project' way of filming. And if you see it in a cinema it is even more stunning, because of all the Special Effects. I give it 4 out of 5 :)

I saw it when it first came out, and I loved it. People are bashing it because the acting's bad and the plot is not believable, but I don't think that was the point of the movie. It was a great thrill ride, truly a good movie theater experience.
