Does anyone make tents in your living rooms for your kids. My girls are always wanting little clubs and tents in the living room. Like little forts, They love it. Do you do that for your kids?

I used to do that for my daughter. I would drape a cover over tow chairs and make her a tent. I used to tie a sheet to the fan also and let the wind blow it up in the air and she could get under it. I always thought that was fun when I was a little girl too.

Yeah. I had alot of fun when my dad was living. He would tie a sheet to the fan and let it blow over our heads and we would lay there like we were camping out. I really miss those days alot.

i dont have kids, but my neices are allowed to have their tents inside, keeps them busy and they heaps of fun, i dont really see a problem with the kids having their tents inside, they arent really that bit of tents anyway.

I did it for my granddaughter. And she tried to do it herself (she is two and 1/2) and almost pulled down her little tv set she has on her dresser. So for Christmas Santa brought her a nice little pup tent with a matching sleeping bags. All Christmas afternoon she stayed in her tent. My son thought they might be raising her from a tent from then on! LOL

My kids are better off when they make their own. They like to use the dining room table and chairs with blankets and pillows. I made this really awesome fort in their room with extra sheets, but they got too crazy and tore it down in no time. They enjoy hiding and will even hide under plain tables and chairs from each other. Over the years, I have seem improvement in how they construct their forts/tents and now they are more of a team in making them, than they used to be. They really enjoy real tents. Can't wait until it warms up so we can go camping and use them!

Oooh...that brings back memories!! My cousin and I used to make tents out of sheets in the family room all of the time. It was so fun. Unfortunately my kids do not know how to have any real fun because they have too many games and electronics occupying their time.

Oh yes for sure, Kids love it. I might surprise my oldest with a tent in her room tonight on her bed. She sleeps on the bottom bunk of bunk beds so it would be perfect.

My cousins and I used to do that when we were kids. Their couch had really big cushions and we'd take them and build forts with them. We'd stand two up and put a third one on top or use a blanket for the top and used the other cushions to build another "house" We had a ball doing that it was our own little cubbyhole.

My son loved to make tents or forts when he was younger. We used to have a really nice size living room so he was able to make himself quite the fort. Now we have a small living room with no room for one so when it is nice outside he makes a fort aroudn the swingset.
