Have you ever been at work talking about a serious subject when out blurts a totally non related random comment that kills the conversation? i get bored during work meetings and have had people staring at me in astonishment as they try to figure out where the statement came from and why i said it. examples are last week we were trying to find a solution to the lack of cover on a shift when i announced "Finland is still spelt with a capital F" others have included "NBC's 1967 phonathon was particularly successful" or "It's particularly chilly in Moscow today" and "Walnut whips are expected to make a comeback this year" Do you have any examples of non related conversation killers?

Don't get made at me for saying this, Boxman, but to me this sounds like a symptom of vitamin B deficiency. You may not be eating enough green leafy vegetables. Focus is still spelled with a capital F, but spelt is a wholesome grain. Try knocking off the white bread and eating whole grains for a while. I really want you to advance in your new position and enjoy your work and be happy.

Sounds like you are a terribly bad boy :)) (albeit a very humorous one) I have accidentally done this because my mind was somewhere else and not the topic at hand. LMAO What I can tell you here in mylot I often feel like a conversation killer. The Discussion will be moving right along, until I come in and put my 2 cents in then it comes to a roaring halt..... My username is the last on the list for months and months.

myself i don't think in a work related meeting was the best place to say things out of order. as someone who is in charge at work i go though allot of thinking time on what to say and how to say things to get a point across. it is hard enough trying to control a meeting with out someone making it harder. meeting are boring , but let it be boring and be respectful as much as u can

LOL. I tend to do that occasionally. .and so do my friends. It's mostly done online though. Me and my friends would be in a convo chat on MSN. . .sometimes one of us would be all dark and angsty after something has happened. . .the others comment on it. And someone usually tries to break the gloomy, serious mood with a completely random comment. I can't possibly name all the times this have happened to me and my friends online haha.

You are going to be put on leave for stress related indifference and told to see a Psychiatrist before you are able to return. With any luck, you will be able to spend more time on Mylot making us laugh.
