What made you decide to respond or not to respond in a discussion here?

The subject has to catch my attention first. After reading it if I have something to say I will respond if I don't, I won't.. Pretty simple to me.. *smiling*

There are a lot of things that make me want to answer a question or respond to a discussions. I like responding to discussions that I can definitely add something to. I don't usually answer a discussion just to do it, I have t have something to add to it in order to feel like I am contributing. I would rather answer less discussions everyday instead of answering a ton with no substance. It's about the good conversations to me.

That was great. But in your early membership with mylot, don't you respond just to have a response? Sometimes I feel to respond for the sake of responding. I'm just honest. There are lots of times also where I really choose what discussion to respond. Thanks for sharing!

see it depends on the discussions and type of question that is asked , like if it attracts me to give the answer then i choose it freely , if not i simply skips most and choose the favourate one , mostly i choose topics from the listed interest groups.

I respond only if I am interested.Sometimes I spend quite good time searching for a thread that interests me, find none and leave almost as if I have not been to the site for the day.All the same I suspect that I might have been a little more tempted to comment for the sake of registering a preesence if not for a shield that I enjoy:because my country does not qualify for the use of paypal, I am not going to get paid for my presence here and so my presence is simply based on my interest.

If the topic is of my interest I will respond to it. And if I know I can't help answering to the question, because I don't know something about the topic I don't answers. I don't know if myLot gives you money because of the number of reponses that you post, I was told that it only counts if your answers are productive for the discussion.
