Have you met any of your Mylot friends in person?

I have spoken to kitchenwitchoftupper on a couple of occasions. She is an exceptional person. One of the most kind and caring people I have met on MyLot.

there are ppl here that I'd love to meet someday but as it stands right now the only person I've spoken to on the phone, we met up one night in canada AND she was here visiting my place once is Mare BUT we know each other from a different forum...I've also met other ppl from different forums but not anyone here...

There isn't much money for people on disability to travel on; however, with cell phones, most of us can affor a phone call now and again. I do have a few MyLot friends that keep in touch over the phone from time to time. These are people that just through their discussions touched a spot in my heart. Some times you can just feel that they are close to you and someone you were destined to meet. It used to amaze me at how this box sitting in front of me attached to the keyboard where my fingers flit across the letters was really able to connect me to someone that I didn't know, but was able to form a "heart bond" with. Now, I no longer feel amazed. I feel blessed. ~Donna

I have never had the opportunity to meet any of my mylot friends. I have found out that one of my friends lives about 3 hours away from me. We chat all the time on another forum...many times a day. It would be cool to get to meet her someday.

I haven't met any of my friends if person... but if this situation was like two or three years back... when i didn't have a baby yet... and when i can still afford to travel... i would have ask gr8life to meet me in Kuala Lumpur when i went there for a vacation... or called drannhh when i was working in GTMO... or the or met up with members and friend when i went to London... But for now... that i can only stay where i am... meeting them would have to wait... but if given the chance... i surely would...

I wish! I live out in the sticks of Cape Breton Canada. I don't have any money to travel so I can't. But if any of my friends happen to be around this way, give me a shout. As for the phone, I hardly ever use that at all. You are better at getting a hold of me online then the phone. I guess it is the three children thing. House is loud most of the time and I may need to go do something for one of them. LOL

That's a good question. My online persona is pretty-much anonymous. I suppose that I could have met some myLot friends outside of this arena, but I doubt we would have known it.

I hope I can meet them in person one day.But it seems difficult because they're all foreigners.
