The worst gift ever..............

What has ben the worst gift you have ever received from your husband/wife?I think that mine was a sewing mchine 2 Christmases ago.I do not know how to use it,I dont sew so I have always wondered why he bought it for me.I think maybe he was hoping I would take a hint that i need to learn.I dont know but for whatever reason it sat n the closet floor for over a year and then I gave it to his sister who sews straw bags to sell.

My husband always buys me what I want. I pick it out and I end up wrapping it too. So all the gifts I have ever gotten I have liked :). The first Christmas we were together I got the best present though and he proposed to me and that was a total shock to me.

My husband always gives me what I want as well. The only thing I can't convince him to do is buy me any flowers other than roses. He frequently shows up with flowers (always roses) at appropriate times as well as the unexpected. He never forgets birthdays or anniversaries but I cannot shake him out of the rose habit and it is always red roses.

He has never done too good. I try to pick my presents for him. For instance this past Christmas I really wanted a tri-gold bracelet. So I went to about 5 stores and found the ones I liked I wrote down the product numbers and gave them to him. He had the final pick of which one I got and I was surprised at the one he picked. As for the worst. I would have to say it was a package blank vhs'. Back then i would record a show so I could watch it when I got home. So knowing I did this he bought me some blanks. I really didn't need them you can record over stuff lol. Whatever he tried.

Oh gosh that is a ridiculous gift,I hope that wasnt for a special occassion that he gave you that.I hear people say its the thought that counts but I sometimes wonder what exactly they were thinking when they buy certain things.At least they were usable to you though.
