Me and my hubby travelled a lots of places when were there in the Philippine, Riding a bus, plane and boat are more exciting. But based on my observation travelling in plane is very scary because you didn't know whats happening later. Im just thinking if there's very bad weather to hit the plane im sure we're all die. I was just wondering here if how anyone loves to travel, is it by buses, plane or boats! please share your ideas...

Well I'll tell you that from my experience, I personally love to travel by road because you get to see more things in a longer period of time, as opposed to traveling by air. Anyway, I've marched a sport called drum corps (if you haven't heard of it, it's like marching band, but at ESPN level) last summer, and we toured the entire country for two months by bus, sleeping on gym floors, rehearsing at many different schools all over the US, performing every single night, and getting back on the road to another state. There are obviously pros and cons to any traveling method....so, I love buses a lot, haha!

I love to travel. I would really like to go to the beautiful Philippines. I would travel around by bus and boat I think on an island hopping and snorkeling trip. My favorite form of transport is train. By day I like to look out of the window and enjoy seeing the passing scenery. At night time it is comfortable to sleep on a bunk in a sleeping compartment. I have been on scenic journeys in New Zealand seeing the coast and the mountains. I went on a train in Kenya and saw a giraffe whilst I was eating breakfast on the train. I have traveled on buses on narrow mountain roads and felt quite travel sick though. Most bus trips are all right for me. I have been on rough sea trips and felt a bit sea sick. I like to travel by plane as it can get me a long distance away quite quickly. The seats are cramped and there is little leg room though. I like to stop off on the way to Australia and have been to amazing Hong Kong.

Hi Judyann - welcome to mylot! How I like to travel depends on why I am traveling. If I am traveling for business I like to get there fast and come home fast - so I fly if it would take longer driving. If I am traveling to some place I have never been to before, I will fly there if it is far and then drive around, hike to see the local sites. I have had much travel by boat. When I did we stopped often to get out and tour. That was nice too. But it was a small boat on the Nile.

If I am in a hurry, like s business trip for a day or two, its always the plane. If it is just a vacation trip with fiends or family, i prefer the boat. why, you are already on vacation even before you arrive at your destination! the bus comes last. it is a last resort. Land trip hurts my back, numbs my legs, heats up my butt and makes me dizzy.

For me, I will have to fly to most places if I embark on any holiday or trip out of my country, although I don't particularly love flying. If I am going somewhere within the country, then I'll drive. You'll be surprised, but flying is about the safest means of transportation, if you compare the number of fatal accidents of any airline vs the million number of flights made. It is just that in the case of an air accident, the consequences are usually severe, and that's why some people are scared of flying. When I am in another country for a holiday, I prefer to hire a car and drive around on my own. I enjoy discovering new places, going off the beaten tracks at times and taking in the captivating scenery of the mountains, valleys, farmlands, rolling hills, rivers and ocean views.

Hi Judyann_30! I am from the Philippines. Are you from the Philippines or just went there for vacation? In my own experience,I love to travel by car.The boat or fairy makes me threw and sea sick. While the airliners flight makes my ears deaf and it really hurts bad. Bus is too crowded and usually drivers drive it fast and break it hard. I think that the safest way to travel is to walk with your own feet. But not for thousand miles away though unless if we can get superwoman's power.

i like take plane if i have enough money. it's fast and comfortable. though some people think it's very dangerous. i think they have some misunderstanding. plane is safe . very few accident happens to plane. it's scared because once the accident happens you have little chance to survive.

I have traveled on a buss and didn't like it at all. I was going a pretty far distance and it was a lot of hasal for me. I have done a lot of traveling by plane and enjoy it very much. I am very relaxed in a plane. It is safer in a plane than in a car on the road is the way I look at it. If bad weather hits the plane the pilots are very well trained to handle that. I have been in a plane when bad weather hit and it didn't concern me. I have total faith in the pilot are I would not have gotten in the plane to begin with. All I did was put my earphones on and listen to the music of the small CD player that I always bring on the plane with me. I have very relaxing music that comes with me. So I just lay back and listen to the music and let the pilot handle the weather problem that is what he is there for. Traveling on a boat I have never done so unless I have given it a try I would not know if I would want to travel by boat or not.
