Is your bedroom a set theme? Does all your furniture match or just random pieces? I want a canopy bed - the one with the post that you can hang a sheer curtain on. I'm thinking of sage green walls with burgundy or purple trimmings - I see it in my head but I'm actually going to look at colors and make sure it matches hahahahaha!!!

My bedroom is random. I have lots of pictures of angels and postcards of ehatever interests me. If I move to a new apartment, I'll try to be more thematic.

Sometimes random furniture can be fun. To me is a step towards adulthood - having matching furniture heehee... so that's what I want - hopefully.

Your bedroom sounds really nice, Mare! Mine has all matching furniture (light oak) with a four poster queen size bed. The colours are all burgandy and green for winter in spring, I change my coordinating bedwear to burgandies and pinks. Hubby doesn't actually mind the pinks either because their is enough deep burgandy to contrast and he says it's much lighter and more summery. The curtains are burgandy and go well with both winter and summer themes. I love our bedroom, lot's of throw pillows around, so we can watch tv in bed and be really comfortable too.

Right now my bedroom has snowmen figurines all over it as I collect them and I use them to decorate in the winter time. However, most of the time, I use a tropical theme in there as I have a bedspread that is palm trees. Yes, our furniture set matches. We bought it several years ago and I love it!! My husband wants to get rid of it after we build our house but I don't want too. I like it too much!!
