Do You Have Retirement Plans (Money)?

Yesterday I met up with a friend and she is working as a sales person in investment funds. Personally, I have a couple of investment plans for retirement. I will probably get one more from her when I get a job. What about you? Do you have a retirement plan? Do you investment money or just saving up in your bank account?

Hello wondericequeen, I don't invest my money. I only save them in my personal account, my joint account with my husband and also my son's account. I hope those will be enough for the three of us (no plan to have another family member at the time being) *laughs*

That's a very safe way *smiles*. You never know if you would have one more family member *laughs*.

Hello wondericequeen, I always have to pre-plan that one big matter so that my life won't be upside down again when I was confirmed pregnant with my first *laughs* Anyway, I hope to do more in saving more money rather than spending too much of it. We are getting older, not younger (though I disagree with the fact that I am older now!)

For now, I'm just saving money in my bank account. Though I have considered availing one after I graduate in college. And considering that when you become old, especially when you are single or your children is working far far away, I guess I'll definitely save money for a retirement plan in order for me to have myself living in a retirement home which is probably about 50 years from now. :)

i use to have an investment but when i got bankrupt with my business , i was force to withdraw everything i saved up. given a chance, i would invest again on mutual funds or put up a small investment on a small business so it would earn more than 10% every month.

I don't have a detailed plan for retirement. I just have a thought and try to do it. I will try to earn more when I am young and make our saving grow by investment etc.

If I get a good job, I'll make sure first that my kids' future will be secured then after that, I'll try investing for my retirement. Unfortunately, studies show that here in the Philippines, only a few number of workers have retirement plans or saving but I'll try my very best to save for the days when I could no longer work. Thanks for bringing this up!
