would you stay in a job thats fulfilling but not financially rewarding? is it more money or no money? not everyone's lucky enough to get the best of both worlds. most people get stuck at career crossroads, not knowing which path to take-the yellow brick road to happiness or the smooth slick road of mucho dinero. which pursuit is your priority?

I actually started a discussion about that a few weeks ago... i even wrote the list of pro's and con's and i got diffent views from those who responded... here is the link... http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1374758.aspx I decided to stay since my priority now is to have more time for my baby... nevermind if the job is not fulfilling or that the pay is lousy... as long as the office is near my apartment... and i control my own working time... i will stay but definitely not forever...

I think it is also a matter of security. Is money going to make you more secure even if you hate a job? Are you going to feel better and therefor work better if you like the job? I lucked out in that the work I did was something I enjoyed. I worked in restaurants and love the pace of a Friday night. I always enjoy dealing with people too, both the employees and customers. Unless I was offered over double the pay I don't know if I would have traded my job. I knew what I could do, and I made enough to take care of bills and have extra to be able to splurge on myself at times.
