Your dog's age and your age is the same?

I have a dog at home, I like it and it is very cleaver. It is an ordinary dog to be healthy and with other dogs different is that it live for a very long time, about 20 years. But, a few years ago, when I graduated from the school and it has already left my home. I do not kown its gone where. Grandma told me, is's age and my age is the same. The mean is when I was born, it was just born and came to my home. It is my friend, I miss it.
