How long have you been reading the Tarot, and which deck do you prefer?

I have been reading the Tarot for a oouple of years now, although i've been interested in them since I was a teenager. I have just purchased the Illuminated Tarot deck, it's a handmade deck which is a recolouring of the Rider-Waite. It's absolutely beautiful and seems to draw out the more spiritual elements of the cards. I would have to say that it's the best deck i've worked with so far. I've also used the Morgan-Greer, Universal Waite and Celtic decks.

hey..can u pls tell me how to chose a tarot deck..?? I have been reading the rider waite tarot deck for 2years now, as my 1st rather only deck but dont know about others..i can still order those decks from outside but they are not available in india at all..

I've been reading off and on now for about eight years. I really enjoy it. I started out with an Elemental deck. It is nice but I just couldn't get a good feeling with it. I couldn't connect with it. I was giving a Lord of the Rings deck a couple of years ago and I love that one. I enjoy reading it but also the designs on it are very well done. On my last birthday I was given a Faery Deck and it's beautiful. I haven't read with it much yet so can't say for sure how it is. I'd have to say at this point the Lord of the Rings deck is my favorite.
