Do you like Horror Movies?

I personally don't mind watching them once in a while, but I will admit that they're not my favorite genre hehe. It's just that I don't like to go to the cinema to feel uncomfortable, uneasy and tense all the time, which is precisely what horror movies do. And if they are kind of gory, I like them even less. I prefer psychological thrillers, or suspense movies, rather than explicit horror ones. What about you? what kind of movies you prefer? do you like horror movies?

I enjoy horror movies, especially if it's around Halloween time to get me in the mood. But like you I prefer the ones that mess with your mind instead of your eyes. I like the psychological ones also. I don't like the ones where body parts and blood are flying everywhere. To me that's just nasty not fun to watch. I love the original Halloween movie (its my fav horror movie. It was spooky and scary, but not overily bloody), but refuse to watch the remake because I heard it's alot messier than the original. I also am a big fan of the old black and whites. Nothing like an old dracula or frankenstien movie for the 50 to put the spook in you.

Yes, I like horror movies. Before, I used to have a hard time sleeping after watching or hearing about scary stories. But now it doesn't bother me anymore. I might feel different though if I were living alone. Hehe

I like horror movies a lot but generally they don't top in nmy kind of movies. I watch movies to have pure entertainment and have good time with my friends or alone. Its drama and comedy movies that top my list. But horror movie has its own way to entertain me, all thriled up and so awake ...geee.. I also don't like gore that much psychological thrillers are much more better and suspense one too. I love watching horror movies its a good entertainment.. but sometimes these kind of movies are just full of unreasonable gore and so much of things which can though make me puke but not a single thrill... :)

It is too scary. I don’t want to watch any of them anymore. After I had watched the Dracula Movie during my middle school day I never dare to watch any of these horror movies since then. This scary movie could really leave a very bad effect in my memory. Even now when I am alone in the dark the scary scene would always appear in my mind. This makes me to scare of darkness. As a result, I rather prefer to watch movies of comedy which could always amuse me all the time.

I don't like seeing horror movies. I just don't like the story and I always feel uneasy watching it. But still I always watch it. I just wanna know how it ends. I saw I am legend in the cinema but didn't liked it at all. It's a bit the same as 28 days later. And I hate that movie too. I prefer comedy's and movies with a little bit romance.

I am not a big fan of horror movies and I almost never watched one. Mom is a horror movie fanatic though (how ironic!). The reason I don't watch any horror movies because I would be thinking about it and got scared at night time, so I thought it wouldn't be wise for me to watch and got scared by myself *laughs*.

I like watching various kinds of movies, including horror movies. I think it's very exciting as I will feel scared after that. This kind of feeling usually just lasts a few days, so it's not a problem for me.

When I was in college a group of friends and I went though a phase where all we watched were horror movies. I think I had my fill back then because I don't watch them much anymore. Plus I have kids now and I don't want them seeing that kind of stuff. I like to watch things that will make me laugh.

I like horror movies since I was a child. We're allowed by our elders to watch it. I was the one who finished watching the horror movie most of the time. I will admit that I become afraid. I imagine monsters around me. I dreamed monsters every night. Maybe through watching horror movies. I can watch it alone all by myself. I like comedy, thriller and adventure movies also.

I like horror movies, they get my heart pumping and I love that!! I like the suspence and also I love not knowing what is going to happen next, cause then the music starts and you jump out your seat! The Ring movies (the original ones) are really scary... I liked 'The Blairwitch Project' too, amazing what they can do with such small budget. I'm not into slasher movies like Freddie vs. Jason, Jason X, etc. I think they suck big time.

I do not like horror movies. They are worse if they are gory. A while back my husband paid for a movie on pay per view and he didn't realize what it was. Well, the movie was "Blade" and when it got just a little way into the movie I mentioned to him that I would rather he turn it off. He looked at me and said that sense it was paid for there was no way he was going to change the channel. So I found something else to do while that was on.

I actually used to like horror movies a lot. I liked the feeling but I never really loose track of the fact that it was a movie. They were gory at the time but not too much, at least not as they are now. But that was a while ago, maybe 15 years ago. Lately I don't like them too much. I prefer thrillers, action, comedy. I like movies that grab me and to which I have to think hard to even grasp the mystery before the solution is presented to me, or I like movies that just make me laugh - although I don't appreciate all kinds of humour. An easy laugh is to old to me now. And some nonsense comedies don't do anything to me.Some big hits like horror movie and the 40th year old virgin are such examples of comedies that I didn't like. ALthough I am a woman I don't appreciate romance as a genre unless it's a light romantic comedy. I also don't like big dramas. I don't usually like war movies but there have been a few exceptional ones and I enjoyed those. Historical movies are a big question mark. SOme are excellent, some bore me to tears LOL

I am not a big horror movie fan. I am not big on movies that don't have much of a plot or dialouge. The only horror movies I really like are Poltergeist, and Nightmare on Elm Street.

I am not a big fan of horror movies at all. My husband loves them though! We own a whole bunch of them. They used to scare me really bad but I have sort of become desensitized to them. I still don't like them but I will watch it once with him after he buys the dvd. I don't like to watch it right before bed either, I already have night time anxiety so I don't do stuff that will purposely make it worse.

If I am going to watch a movie I like for it to have alot of action in it....I kind of do like horror movies but I don't really like todays horror movies if that makes sense...because today to me the horror movies dont make much sense to me and really they are more stupid than anyhting....it takes alot to scare me and thats something that todays "horror" movies don't do! But over all I do like horror movies as long as they are the older horror movies like the halloween movies and the Friday the 13th moives!
