rain, rain, go away?

I can't speak for everyone but it seems as if rain annoys most people, at least in California. Anyone like or love the rain? Anyone who lives where rain is not unusual or looked down upon? Anyone like singing in the rain? Anyone like the way rain feels as it drops on your face? My boyfriend and I want to move to Seattle,WA. Of course I've read it's either rain or drain day there. I don't hate the rain; I'm just not sure if I can deal with it for long periods of time. Any suggestions or advice?
