Which is more important in the education of the society? Cinema or Theatre?

Cinema and Theatre are surely very enjoyable cultural events. As they are cultural events, what do you think of that question? Which one takes a more important role in the education of society?

Cinema now because very few go the the Theatre. However I am looking forward to my first broadway play soon. Aingealicia
