What is your best travel tip... Mine is kind of funny. -Buy new undies beforehand but take your old ones on the trip and throw them away as you use them...it leaves more room in the suitcase when you fly home. Silly but handy!

I love that tip! I always buy too many souvenirs so that would leave room for more! lol! Let's see, a tip? I would say that if you have a budget that you need to stick to, divide up the money that you know you have available for the whole trip and put it in separate envelopes for each day, marking the envelopes for each day. If you go over your budget, you'll know because you don't have any more money in your envelope for that day! This worked great for us last summer when we went to the beach. We alloted so much money for each day and if we had extra, we added it to the other envelopes. By the end of the trip, we were able to eat dinner at a really nice restaurant!

If you take a back pack instead of a suitcase it leaves your hands free. Wear a money belt and keep your passport and money in it for safe keeping. Take a few light weight snacks if you can. I like your travel tip. I tend to wash my clothes whilst away on my trip. It is a good idea to leave some space for souvenirs. I have built up a nice little collection of costume dolls from the many places I have visited. Happy traveling.

Mine is always fly on a Tuesday or Wednesday when flights are cheapest. And loosely pack your luggage so you end up taking more luggage then you actually need. That way when you are on vacation you can buy more stuff and have a whole suitcase to bring it back in if you do it right.

make sure you can carry all your luggage yourself while walking around the block a couple times. there's nothing worse than over-packing so that you can't manage your own bags/suitcases. especially if you're traveling somewhere that might not have elevators - you need to be sure you can actually lift and carry your stuff.
