Who is on mylot while the Superbowl is on tonight?

Who will win the 2008 Superbowl? - Boston Patriots
United States
February 3, 2008 5:39pm CST
I'm sitting at my desk but I have the game on my tv behind me so I can take a look at the new commercials when they come on. Although being from Boston I wouldn't mind if the Patriots won and I got to see the very end when they do. My son called me to "make sure" ...lol...that I have it on since he's such a big fan and thinks everyone is Boston should be a Patriots fan and watching the game. He will be so let down if they don't win. So...who is here posting? Are you at least listening to the game or are you just not interested because you don't like either team?

Well I'm certainly here....I don't even have my TV on at all, just my radio with some soft music. I've never been a football fan, so not into watching the SuperBowl to begin with...besides to be honest, besides MyLotting, I'm catching up on some work and writing a few articles which I hope to get done tonight.

I have to admit it was a good game and as football fans say it was "anybodys" game! The Pats lost by one touchdown (or whatever it's called...lol)

This is the first time I've ever watched the Superbowl and it's only because I can't find anything else on tv.

The Patriots did do something I don't agree with even if I am from Boston. I'm sure it will be talked about for months.

I think the bad karma happened with the book called 19-0 came out Days before the game and whatever happened or didn't happen during The Pat's Wednesday's practice.I heard Belichik had to to yell at the team.

What a game huh? I think both teams were awesome but I didn't go along with the Patriots and questioning if that Giant player was on or off the field at the time of the play. I think that made for bad Karma and it's why they lost the game.

It's not that I'm behind the times, it's that the superbowl has been talked about so much I thought it had passed already. Not to mention that it means nothing to me. If it didn't happen, I wouldn't know. In any case, the commercials are never worth it to me..cause you almost always see them again later and in this day and age...you can youtube it.

I watched Ghost Rider. I taped it a few days ago. It wasn't too bad. Now I'm watching the Law And Order SVU marathon on USA. Watching paint dry would be more entertaining to me than watching football.

I am on the computer while watching the superbowl I went and loked myself in the bedroom and turned my computer on and got me a bottle of water and got onto my bed and then got the laptop and I positioned the computer on the bed and the television infront of the bed so that I could kind of see the football game out of the corners of my eye...so that I am kind of watching the superbowl while I am answer and asking a few questions on mylot....I really haven't ever been good at multi tasking but I think I am getting better!

I have the laptop on a tray table, and hubby has the game on. He made us huge steaks. I am not a sports fan, and even the commercials are not that big a deal for me. Being with my hubby is the draw for me. I will go find us some kind of a dessert pretty soon. I am not starting new discussions, but am trying to resolve my old ones. Of course I am responding as well.

When your married sometimes watching sports is the only time you can spend with your man isn't it? As long as you're together that's all that counts.

I switching back and forward to the game I too want the Patroits to win even though their not my team but I hope the win. As for the commerical this year for the super bowl aren't that funny, I only show 2 that was a little funny to me and that was the Life water with the lizards dancing the Thriller(Michael Jackson song) and the AMP when that guy was trying to jumpstart some lady's car and he had the jumper cable hooked to his nipples.

Yes, I loved the Life Water commercial and the AMP was good too but I also enjoyed the Clydesdale and the dog who were training like Rocky! Too funny.

I'm here. I don't like to watch most sports on t.v. I'm waiting for CSI Las Vegas to come on after the game. I'm not listening to the game. My spouse will yell when CSI comes on.

I am on mylot, i could care less about the superbowl..It would not bother me if they never had superbowl...I am not a sports fan.I really do not even like sports....Earlier today my husband and i went to buy groceries, and tons of people were at walmart,we could not hardly find anymore cokes..I guess everybody was getting ready for super Bowl Sunday..What was so amazing is the ones there was in a huge hurry and they were being so rude to the checkers,by telling them to hurry, and why are they so slow,i felt sorry for them..One really nice checker that was checking us out, the man behind us told her to stop talking and start checking, and she was checking as fast as she could,we had 125.00 worth so she was doing a great job, so she told the man"sir i am going as fast as i can, and he roared back to her saying " well we don't need to hear your lifes story"He was horrible,so when she got through checking us out she walked off and went and got another checker to take her place..left him fumeing,he was a smart eleck, so if i have to act like this because of a ball game"Lord help me!

Just before half time the smoke alarm in our building went off which means everyone in the building (18 apartments!) have to go out on the front porch until the fire dept. gets here to check it out. There was about 5 minutes and I think it was the Patriots who called time out. We've had the fire dept. here before for things like this (someone was cooking and the smoke set off the alarm) usually they sort of take their time but last night you could tell they were in a hurry to get back to the barn. In fact one of them asked what had happened in the game...lol. I guess we took them away from the game!

I'm afraid I took the opportunity to grab a quick nap, ctry, while the Superbowl was on. I've been worried about my daughter and thought that she might call me since everyone always seems to call just when I decide to nap. My oldest daughter did call, though, and said she was at her sister's boyfriends's house watching the game. I spoke to her a few minutes and dozed off again. I did get the alert that the game had been won by New York.

Well, I'm sitting here in the living room with my laptop and watching during the commercials anyway. I'm just not a fan of either team, so it doesn't matter to me so much about the game. I'm just here for the funnies!!!

I think the majoity of people actually just watch for the commercials. I mean, think about it, normal regular season games don't get near the viewers, so something is drawing additional viewers, it has to be teh commercials.

I am actually working tonight. I work as a lab consultant in one of the computer labs on campus. So I really couldn't watch the game anyway. Actually, I am working for someone else right now. I picked up some hours for tonight because I wouldn't have watched the game even if I was at home. I am not much of a football fan. I live in Indiana and I was kind of hoping the Colts would make it, but, oh well, I don't mind that much!
