Yeah it's now my birthday and (insert diety of your choice here) only knows I'm excited to be getting my bday present in 5 days .. I just can't wait to pick up my little husly pup who is pure white and so cute he could just melt your heart no matter how mad your were. LOL!!!
My question is how long did you have to wait to get you pet and did you start counting down when you got close?

I've never had to wait for a pet. Now a present, thats different. I hate when I see my presents wrapped and its like a week before I'm allowed to open them. I'll shake them, poke at them, hold them up to the light. Everyone is lucky I don't have an x-ray machine. lol

Cyn, I just had this mental image of you packing up the presents in your vehichle and taking them to the Er and trying to get them to use their xray machine. LOL!!!

I've never had to wait for a pet.. when we got our dog when i was young, we went to the pet store just out of the blue my dad decided to get a dog. lol. He thought it looked like a german sheppard, but really, it looked like a doberman or a rottie, same markings, but body of a black lab, and wirey fur but longer then a rottie. Very excitable and non trainable doggie! Well maybe with more patience and professional training.. But we loved her the way she was. She is gone now, and even though i dont like dogs, i liked her cause she was mine, and i cried when she passed. ;(
I dont like having pets because of the sad parts! I think i might get a nice kitty though when my kids are old enough to know not to tourcher it!

lol so there was a dog you liked! you dont really hate them. lol HAPPY B-DAY BELLA!!!. I cant have a dog cuz the landlord dont allow it but i did sneak a cat in. When I get a house i will be counting down the days to get a dog. I am a dog lover all the way!

One of the hardest things about owning a pet is when the pet passes. I'm sorry for your loss, I think you might like a nice kitty they are not as demanding as dogs and sometime like to be on there own and then there is times when they love the attention they get from everyone. And sweets your not an @sshole. Thank you for the song and I'm sure your voice is lovely. I think kids love singing not matter what ... It's part of their DNA ...LOL!!! Thank you for the birthday wish ... When is your birthday?

Thank you for the birthday wish and hopefully you get a house soon .. Cats are so easy to hide from landlords and long as you take care of the house. LOL!! I'll admit I'm more of a cat lover, but I had a husly when I was a kid and they have warmed their way into my heart I love them they are the sweetest dogs in the world.

Thank you so very much for the birthday wish. I love animals .. have you talked to your land lord if it's not a company about giving a pet deposit and allowing a walk through a once a month for a couple months to show to the land lord that your a responsible pet owner. Sometimes that usually softens them if you deal with and individual. LOL!!!

I wish I could, my apartment building has 60 apartments and the rules for the whole building are: no pets, no washing machines or dryers, no dish washers, no electric garbage disposal, they don't even allow a welcome floor mat outside of your door. I don't move because the rents are so expensive in my neighborhood but I know I need to move away from this area - this place is awful!

Happy birthday to you! I waited quite a while for my dog. It took me about six months before I decided on a breeder I was happy with that did all the necessary health-testing and then I had to wait another six months to get the puppy. A very long wait and it almost drove me nuts but it was well worth it :)

Thank you for the birthday wish Seraphine. I agree with you it took forever to find a breeder I was happy with and then I had to convince the other half and now I'm waiting but I'm so counting down the day til I get to go and pick up Frost. I know it was worth it when I looked into his puppy face and he nuzzled me. :) It's amazing how quickly they brighten you day. Hope you have a nice night.

Oh pets- I waited a couple of weeks for my Rott and my Puggle I just picked him up. With my Rott- I counted down as soon as I saw him. :)

No it's not bad that loungey is the diety of your choice I think he has converted many to him..LOL!!!Thank you for the birthday song I love this version I'll to sing it to my friend when she turns 30 also and we need a fire extinguisher to put out her cake. LOL!!!
I know what you mean I started to count down as soon as I saw my puppy he's just so adorable. Me and the breeder have emailed back and forth about how Frost is doing. LOL!!
