Are you a racist?

I can honestly say I am not a racist. I usually don't even bother about the race of a person unless someone else points it out...for that matter...religion, caste (for which people are discriminated in India)are also no matters of concern to me. As long as my wavelength and those of the other person matches, I don't bother about other things. But if the wavelengths don't match, then I am uncomfortable around these people and it has nothing to do with racism...it's just that I have nothing in common or feel lost for words around them.

No. I'm not racist in anyway, and honestly I can't stand people who are. I just don't understand how people now, in this day and age, can still discriminate against color. I think it's absolutly ridiculous.

Hello littlefranciscan, I dont even know the race of most of the people on my friends list but those I do know belong to a lot of different races. I dont really care what race someone is, in Mylot or anywhere else. I look more at how someone carries themselves and how they act, whether or not they have a good sence of humour. Take care, Terry

no i am definately not racist.i work with many different races,and they are all the same to me.my daughter has grown up in a very mulicultural area and many of her girlfriends are coloured.to me they are all the same inside and many are my good friends.cheers sue

I definitely don't care about it. For me, all of us are equal, we were just raise in different environment, and how we appear and how we deal other people is attributed to environment. Aside from that, whether you are of the same race, you will still have differences in views, differences in personalities as no two person are exactly alike, so it would just fun and interesting to know more people and discover how each of us vary each other. We are all humans, we all breath, we all get has unique experiences, so in my mind I was just thinking why not we use those as a reason to love everybody no matter he/she comes from.
