Cant sleep

Wow, i'm surprised you cant sleep due to the heat, i guess that's hot for you :) Trust me, it's worse being pregnant during an Oz summer, it makes life hell! I'm surprised it's so hot there, aren't you guys in winter? ^_^ I had some similar problems but there are a few things you can do to fix it - go to your local chemist & ask them for heartburn or acid reflux pills - the ones they had here were chewable & did the treat for me every time, i had to take one before bed & 1 in the middle of the night if i woke up but they always made me feel better. Also, a cup of warm milk should help with the sleep & i also used to keep a spray bottle of water beside the bed for if it was hot - then you can spray it on yourself & make sure you have a window open, that worked for me :) I hope that's of some help to you but i didn't get REALLY uncomfortable until after 30 weeks - i hope it doesn't get any worse for you :)

I feel your pain! I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant and sleep is non exsistant for me. I'm so tired but when I lay my head down to go to sleep it just dont happen. Its not hot here by any means. We just had a winter storm and its freezing rain outside but its not making my sleep habits any better. I can't wait to have this baby and then atleast I'll have a reason not to sleep :) Hope it gets better for you

when i could not sleep and the temp was high and had no A/c..i would sleep on our screened in porch..and if you don't have one sleep on the floor...or at last resort go to a air conditioned vehicle..and be sure you are not in an enclosed area and just run the air cond. and listen to the music..some soft slow tunes...
