Happy New Year to you. I have seen a little talk about it online, but other than that not many people in the U.S. celebrate. But I bet there are some students and people here on business that will be celebrating. Or just people that have moved here from China.

Just received this in my email. So I guess we do celebrate Chinese New Year in the U.S. Begin your New Year with a dazzling and inspiring show at Radio City Music Hall. Chinese New Year Splendor is an authentic showcase of classical Chinese performing arts, complete with over 100 dancers, vocalists and musicians accompanied by a full orchestra and high-tech backdrop. Come catch a glimpse of the majestic dance, fashion and sounds of 5,000 years of civilization. Come experience a Chinese New Year celebration like no other.

The mid-autume day August 15th in chinese lunar calendar is the mid-autume day ,it is one of the most important traditional festivals in china on that day people most go back home to have family reunion.each family will have the members get together to have a big dinner.the most popular food is moon cakes.they are round and look like a moon. the moon is the brightest this night.people eat the delicious food while they are enjoying a beautiful full moon in the yard.at this time some old people would tell many past events.and tell the children a story about the rabbit.the children really believed there was a rabbit on the moon .they want to go to the moon and have a look on day
