YORK, Pa. - Police said a York County bank robbery suspect was undone by being too willing to follow instructions. Police said Brian Waltermyer, 33, who was homeless, walked into the Integrity Bank in York on Thursday evening wearing a hood.
He handed a teller a note demanding money, and the teller told him to remove the hood. He did, giving the bank surveillance cameras a crystal-clear view of his face.
Police said officers who watched the tape recognized Waltermyer and tellers were able to identify him from a photo lineup. Police arrested him on Monday.
Waltermyer is being held on $50,000 bail at the York County Prison.

YES!!! In North Vancouver, afew years ago, a bank robber passed a note to the teller, the teller gave him the money, after he walked out. The teller turned the note over, it turned out if was written on the back of one of his personalized cheques. Now that's dumb!

The funny thing, it made headline news! It turned out the guy lived on the same Island that I do. BUT...on this Island, he was respected....LOL! Little did we know, course he was turned in to Crimestoppers. Never know who you live next door to...do you?

I really don't think that you could get any dumber than that...I mean really if I were going to rob a bank I sure wouldnt take off my hood whenever someone ask me to especially whenever it was someone that worked there and would know where the cameras are...I mean really I know that all people arent smart in this world but I really didn't think that it was that possible for one person to be that dumb lol I mean really come on now if you are smart enough to htink to wear a hood dont take it off when she ask you to!

I think he was trying to just find a roof over his head, I mean... jail must seem nice compared to the streets and not being able to eat right?
