Are you a 'hardened and incorrigible drinker'? If you live in Iran, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and attending those meetings at Alcoholics Anonomyous are the least of your problems. You see, Iran has decided upon the final solution as the answer as to what to do with 'hardened and incorrigible drinkers'. That's right, get caught and confess to a fourth instance of drinking and the Iranian courts just might sentence you to hang by the neck until dead! That just might not be a bad idea considering drunk drivers kill over 20K people in the USA every year. More detail here. http://www.adnkronos.com/AKI/English/Politics/?id=1.0.1830564521 Considering the huge death toll in the USA due to drunk driving, what do you say? Hang convicted drunk drivers? Or only if they hurt/kill someone? Should we merely continue with the ineffective system we have? What do you think of Iran's method? Get caught drunk a fourth time and hang? Surely, they do not have much of a drunk driving problem.

I think I ought to look into all the crimes they consider capital crimes in Iran. You have dug up a few interesting ones. It seems that they have an inordinate number of Capital crimes in that country. I understand the ones relating to women, as they are second class citizens under Islamic law. But, these apply to men since women are not allowed to drive in most Islamic countries. I am not sure about Iran. Shalom~Adoniah

Yes, Iran does have more than its fair share of capital offenses. You can be sure I will never travel there. If they ever figured out I was the notorious and infamous redyellowblackdog, they'd know for sure I was a CIA spy gathering secrets to publish at myLot in secret code disguised as innane threads. For sure I'd be hung from one of those construction cranes with my executioners smug in the knowledge they had made myLot a better place.

Like your avatar. Kitties are the most forlorn looking animals right after a bath. I think I have a pic of one of mine in my photoes.
