from popb**ch gosspip newsletter "Yesterday on The Telegraph website: 10.01AM “Led Zeppelin to play Bonnaroo festival in US. The newly reunited Led Zeppelin are to follow- up their hugely successful comeback concert in London with a performance at a festival in the United States.” 03.18PM “Lez, not Led, Zepellin to play Bonaroo in US.” (Lez Zepellin are an all-female lesbian tribute band)" The origanal article http://www.telegraph.co.uk/arts/main.jhtml?xml=/arts/2008/02/06/btzep106.xml "Led Zeppelin to play Bonnaroo festival in US By Natalie Paris The newly reunited Led Zeppelin are to follow-up their hugely successful comeback concert in London with a performance at a festival in the United States. The legendary rock band will headline the 2008 Bonnaroo Arts and Music Festival which takes place between June 13 - 15, on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee." (They had to quickly update it with a link to the correction - "Updated: The Led Zeppelin Bonnaroo appearance that never was" :-) ) wonder if anyone got sacked for this - or a pay cut at least. From the update http://www.telegraph.co.uk/arts/main.jhtml?xml=/arts/2008/02/06/btzep206.xml "Lez, not Led, Zeppelin to play Bonnaroo in US By Emma Henry and Natalie Paris Last Updated: 3:01pm GMT 06/02/2008 It was the news all Led Zeppelin fans were waiting to hear; the legendary rockers had lined up another performance that would surely herald the start of a worldwide reunion tour. Newswires were quick to jump on the line-up announcement for the 2008 Bonnaroo Arts and Music Festival, with the Associated Press and Press Association foreign wires announcing that Led Zeppelin had signed to a long-rumoured appearance at the US extravaganza. The Telegraph was among the news outlets swept along by the reunion excitement. But if it all sounded too good to be true, that's because, well, it transpires that it was. Closer examination of the line-up details showed that it's not Led Zeppelin the festival has signed, it's Lez Zeppelin. That's the all-female tribute act and most certainly not the world-famous rockers. However, Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant will perform at Bonnaroo with bluegrass star Alison Krauss, with whom he made the hit duet album, "Raising Sand.", leading to hopes that the band may still make an appearance." Oh dear - sound like somebody is trying to pretend that they're actually right lol

And to think i was so damn excited:(, it did sound to good to be true, thanks for the knowledge* None the less it sounded so awesome i thought i would actually see a band not from my music era, but i love them just as much as the last guy who scrounged for money for tickets to their last show.
